About Event

Number Theory plays an important role in encryption algorithm. Cryptography is the practice of hiding information, converting some secret information to not readable texts. The workshop aims to introduce the applications of Number Theory in cryptography.Number theory was labeled the "Queen of Mathematics" by Gauss. For many years it was thought to be without many practical applications. Those situations havebeen changed significantly in the twentieth century with the rise of computers. Prime and composite numbers play an important role in modern cryptography or coding systems. Huge volumes of confidential information and large amounts of money are transferred electronically around the world every day, all of which must kept secret. One of the important applications of number theory is keeping secrets. Cryptography is the practice of hiding information, converting some secret information to not readable texts. Cryptography is a division of applied mathematics concerned with developing schemes and formulas to enhance the privacy of communications through the use of codes.
